Do you know a courageous, devoted K-9 who deserves to be recognized?   The Uniformed Service K-9 category is for full-time working K-9s in the realms of city, country, state, or federal law enforcement, the military, firefighting, customs and border patrol and emergency services. If you know a dog who fits this description, we want to hear from you!   Each year, the AKC Humane Fund pays tribute to five dedicated, hardworking dogs for making significant contributions to an individual or entire community in the following categories: Uniformed Service K-9, Exemplary Companion, Search & Rescue, Therapy & Service Dog.
