Do you know a search & rescue canine who deserves to be recognized?

The Search & Rescue category is for dogs certified to assist in wilderness and urban tracking, natural disasters, mass casualties and locating missing people. If you know a dog who fits this description, we want to hear from you!

Each year, the AKC Humane Fund pays tribute to five dedicated, hardworking dogs for making significant contributions to an individual or entire community in the following categories: Uniformed Service K-9, Exemplary Companion, Search & Rescue, Therapy & Service Dog. We're seeking YOUR nominations for the 2023 AKC Humane Fund Awards for Canine Excellence (ACE), presented by YuMOVE®️
